The “Museum of Farming Culture & Civilization” in Soragna is located in a structure once the ancient dairy farm “Castellazzi” which has belonged to the Meli Lupi family for centuries. As requested by the Municipality, the structure has remained a unique example of the local area, displaying an interesting collection of rural and domestic history. The museum makes use of the considerable amount of material made available by the well-known and passionate collector Mauro Parizzi, a local character, who has long used his free time researching and restoring. He alone has managed to give new life to several thousands of tools and objects that characterize the labour done in rural ancient times and more contemporary pasts; directly from the people of the fields and within the walls of their houses.
